Northfold

Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: October 2026

Northfold processes as little personal data as necessary, keeps it in the European Union where possible and uses no tracking cookies. Here's exactly what happens.

1. Who is responsible?

Northfold — Rowan Kemland, Horzelend 61, 2470 Retie, Belgium. Company no. 1234.567.890. Contact: [email protected].

2. Which data?

  • Contact form: name, email, company, phone (optional), selected service and your message.
  • Technical context of your request: the page you used the form on, the referring page, campaign parameters (utm) and language.
  • Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals (such as IP address and browser characteristics) to tell people from bots.
  • Statistics: we measure visits without cookies and without individual profiles (Umami). We see how many people visited a page, not who.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

  • Answering your request and preparing a possible quote: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Preventing spam and abuse and keeping the site secure: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Anonymous statistics to improve the site: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don't use your data for newsletters or advertising without your explicit consent, and we never sell it.

4. How long?

Requests that don't lead to an assignment are deleted or anonymised no later than 24 months after the last contact. If you become a client, we keep what the contract and statutory accounting periods require.

5. Who processes data for us?

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security and spam protection
  • Hetzner (Germany): server for our automations
  • Supabase (Frankfurt region): database for requests
  • Brevo (France): sending confirmation emails
  • Google: Google Sheets and email

Every processor is bound by GDPR terms. With US companies (Cloudflare, Google), data may be transferred outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. Only when you use the form may Cloudflare Turnstile use strictly necessary technical data to block spam.

7. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or object to processing. Email [email protected]. We reply within one month. Not satisfied? You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

8. Changes

If we update this policy, the new version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
